WHY ARE WE HERE?

This student driven digital newspaper is aimed to give Journalism students real life experience in pitching, researching, writing, editing, and publishing news articles.

All articles appearing on this page have gone through the process of being pitched to--and approved by--Mr. Kallen. Students then do any and all necessary research in order to get the story. Interviews are conducted when necessary, and all relevant sources are credited and/or cited. After the discovery process, students then write their stories to be edited and signed off on by Mr. Kallen. Mainland Regional High School strongly believes in celebrating student achievements in the classroom; this digital newspaper acts as one more way to allow students' hard work to be recognized via online publishing. Thanks for reading and we hope you enjoy our stories!
