The Real Madrid team has been doing a great job this season so far, especially in the Championship League, Round 16, Leg 1 out of 2. They are a team made up of 24 players and 6 coaches. Every player is important on a team, however, there are a few astounding men who help move this well oiled machine.

The first and probably most renowned player is Cristiano Ronaldo. He wears the jersey number 7 for Real Madrid. As a 32 year old player he plays as a striker, or forward. RealMadrid.com wrote that “At just 11 years of age, he caught the attention of one of the greatest clubs in his country, Sporting Clube de Portugal.” The following player, who is one of my personal favorites, is James Rodriguez. He has played for clubs such as Envigado, Banfield, Porto, and Monaco. As of now he plays for Real Madrid and the Colombia Men's National Team. For Real Madrid he plays striker or forward, as well. James Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo play very well together up top and are one part of the team that have helped advance them so far through this tournament.

Real Madrid has been advancing very nicely. They are able to keep  a large percentage of possession of the ball throughout their game, which in turn allows them to dictate the outcome of each match. If they continue this pattern of victories, they will go for as a team.
