Deadpool: A Movie Review

Originally Published March 5, 2017

Deadpool is a Marvel movie that won the 2016 MTV movie awards. It was a fan favorite movie that captured the audience's attention because of the action filled and comedic moments. I personally liked the movie because of how Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool. He made the movie more entertaining to watch because of the way the directors had him play the role. The movie is about Wade Wilson and how he was experimented on to become Deadpool who can heal really fast. In the movie, Wilson is hunting down Ajax, the man who made him Deadpool. In the beginning of the movie Wilson is diagnosed with cancer so he undergoes experimental treatment. The treatment made the cancer worse by making it so the cancer can’t be cured leaving Wilson forever scarred with skin that looks severely burned. When Deadpool became scarred he left his girlfriend, Vanessa, without saying a word about it. After he left the first thing he did was to find Ajax to make him look normal again so he can go back to Vanessa. However, Ajax then kidnaps Vanessa which leads Deadpool to kill him. Wade reveals to Vanessa that he is alive and she accepts him even with his disfigured face.
