“U.K. artist Ed Sheeran is a Grammy-winning singer/songwriter known for hit songs like Thinking Out Loud and Photograph.”-Billboard writer, John O’Brien
Ed Sheeran is a contemporary artist who started out at a very young age. He supposedly became musically inspired at the age of 11, by singer-songwriter Damien Rice, after he told Sheeran to start writing his own music. He even hit No. 1 on the iTunes chart before ever signing with a record label.

Ed Sheeran released his first official EP titled The Orange Room, in 2005. With hopes of pursuing a musical career, he set out for London for a summer at the age of 14. In the next two years he released two albums. One was a self titled record released in 2006, while the other was called Want Some?, which was released in 2007. He started becoming more and more well known for a unique style of music that fused folk, rock, pop, and rap into a sound that was never heard before.
